This is a relatively quiet beach with a combination of sand and pebble. It is surrounded by cliffs, and there’s a small river flowing to the sea at its middle. This is where, according to one interpretation of the Homeric myth, Nausicaa, daughter of King Alcinous of the Phaeacians, happened on the shipwrecked Ulysses. Conveniences are provided, and a few restaurants are nearby. The only golf course on the island is just a short distance away.
